Discover Monte Rosa

The Monte Rosa Group is, by extension and importance, the second mountain group in the Alps and the Ayas and Gressoney Valleys offer many combinations of routes between the numerous huts with some of the most beautiful views of the entire Group of Mountains.

The diversity of the area allows for tours suitable for all abilities, from families to the most demanding riders.

Here are the best tours, for us, to discover the culture, territory and taste of the Monte Rosa Group.

The ancient Walser villages

The Walser, people of highlanders, since the thirteenth century took possession of the most inaccessible and difficult areas of the valleys of Monte Rosa. Today you can still visit countless small villages perched on the mountains.

Our tour starts right in Champoluc and goes up the mountain to then go through woods and pastures, along an incredible itinerary with exceptional views of the mountains.
An easy route suitable for everyone, which will lead us to discover an ancient people and its culture.

Courtod River Bike Tour

The Ru Courtod is an ancient river carved out of the rock to bring water from the mountains to the pastures. A great job of the man who dug tunnels in the rock to transport water more than 20 km away.

The route is very complex, but what we present on this tour is certainly the most panoramic and the easiest. From the village of Antagnod we will reach Alpe Tchavana, a farmhouse nestled in one of the most spectacular balconies on Monte Rosa Group and where a typical local lunch will await us.

The wild Nana Valley

The Nana Valley is certainly one of the wildest and most unspoiled valleys of Monte Rosa. The climb to the Grand Tournalin (2600mt) refuge it develops along farm roads between larch woods and meadows.

It is a tour which, thanks to the e-bike, is also accessible to less trained people but which will give great satisfaction.
